Born and raised in Diné Bikéyah, also known as the Navajo Nation, Di’Orr Greenwood is a multidisciplinary artist and skateboarder who has become a celebrated voice within the Diné community. Her artistry extends to the Nike SB Blazer, which reflects her unique style. The shoe features deep hues of Dark Grey and Anthracite, with a stitched-down leather shroud covering the laces and geometric laser-cut patterns enhancing the closure. Symmetrical patterns on the midsole pay homage to Greenwood’s skate deck designs and traditional Navajo artwork. Webbed eye stays keep the laces secure, while the exposed-foam tongue adds a retro touch. Completing the design, an intricate leather flower with a turquoise pistil embodies Greenwood’s signature aesthetic.
