The rich heritage of Jordan resonates deeply within New York City. In collaboration with Awake NY, we celebrate the undeniable connection between MJ’s birthplace and the evolution of Jordan Brand. Before the iconic AJ1 made its debut, MJ sported the Jordan Air Ship, and thus, we pay homage to those foundational roots preceding the 1s. This special edition blends a Sail leather upper with accents of University Red snakeskin, complemented by a Metallic Platinum Swoosh overlaying a University Red Swoosh, adding dimension to the design. The Air Ship is adorned with distinctive branding, including a co-branded tongue label, Awake NY’s signature “A” logo stitched on the mudguard, and “Awake NY” stamping on the heel. Custom packaging completes the package, sealing the deal on this exclusive collaboration.
