The AF1 ’07 “Chicago” pays homage to this spirit, blending warm earth tones with Burnt Black and Claystone Red accents reminiscent of the city’s historic architecture. Every detail of this shoe tells a story, from the subtle nod to the legendary cow on the inner Swoosh overlay to the timeworn finish achieved through cracked leather and vintage suede. Crafted for, validated by, and inspired by the city itself, the AF1 ’07 “Chicago” is a tribute to the strength of Chicago. Nike collaborated with six local streetwear legends (Leaders, Notre, RSVP, St. Alfred, SVRN, and Succezz) to design sneakers that draw inspiration from the resilience of Chicagoans, past and present. The Chicago Pack captures the essence of an ever-evolving blend of heritage and modernity, fire and water, steel and wood. A unifying touch is found in the special-edition graphic on the insole and tongue label—an artful overlay of the Chicago skyline beneath the iconic Nike Swoosh.
